Nicholas Eveleigh Photography About Me
I’m a photographer based in the New York Metro area with a passion for making
ordinary scenes come alive while creating memorable one-of-a-kind imagery.
I have a background in editorial and advertising photography and started my career
focused on detailed and disciplined still-life shooting. My current repertoire has
evolved to include lifestyle, portraits, motion and video.
Recently, I’ve been dabbling in high-end art, antiquities and luxury goods while
working for auction houses, museums, art galleries, and private art collections. This,
while following my passion for food photography along an editorial path.
I learned to be a creative thinker at the rigorous University of Delaware Visual
Communications program. After graduation, I trained with some of the best photographers
in New York City including Craig Cutler, Lynn Goldsmith and Michel Tcherevkoff before
setting out to run my own successful studio.
My clients include dozens of magazines, such as: The New York Times, Bloomberg, Time,
Newsweek, Men’s Health, Barrons, Money, Kipplingers, Forbes, Cigar Aficionado and
many others. Advertising clients include top agencies: McCann Worldgroup,
TBWA/Chiat/Day, Gray Global, Digitas, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and Kirshenbaum
Bond and Partners. I’m a trusted contributing photographer to Christies Auction House,
Bonhams Auctions, Another Space Galleries and have photographed countless private
art collections namely: The Joan Rivers Collection, The Ronald and Nancy Reagan
Estate and the David and Peggy Rockefeller Estates.
My stock photography collections are managed by Getty Imaged, Alamy, SuperStock
and Istock Photo.
Finally, I referee youth, college and adult league ice hockey in my spare time which
means that helmeted, stick wielding, angry, whining humans don’t scare me and I can
whistle very loudly.
